Caitlin is a Registered Qualifying Psychotherapist through the College of Registered Psychotherapists. Caitlin has completed studies in psychology and fine arts at the University of British Columbia and is currently completing post-graduate work at Toronto Art Therapy Institute.
Caitlin has completed placements at the George Hull Child and Family Center, Second Street Junior Middle School, and The Council of Fire Indigenous Cultural Centre. Caitlin has 3 years of experience providing support to children and families, women’s health (fertility, postpartum depression or anxiety), LGBTQ + folks, couples, university students struggling with depression and anxiety, individuals struggling with breakups, divorce, or separation, and individuals struggling with cultural identity and ancestral trauma.
Caitlin approaches her work with an integrative approach and customizes treatment solutions to match the unique needs and goals of each client. Caitlin’s goal is to facilitate awareness of self-knowledge and strength while also supporting her client’s ability to address the change that they want to see in their life. She believes that given the right support, individuals are capable of significant growth and relief from mental health symptoms.
Caitlin is invested in listening to her client’s experiences and challenges with compassion and nonjudgment. She appreciates the courage it can take to reach for help when it is needed. She also understands the importance of finding the right therapist for you.
